'Bullying' being defined as refusing to reinforce someone else's

When I was going through training and they were teaching us how to
interview and manage mentally ill people as part of threat mitigation
for USSS protected persons, the one cardinal rule every instructor said
was "Never pretend you share their delusions, never reinforce their
belief in them by saying you share it."

Now here we are being mandated to do just that, upon pain of official
sanction. And of course the officials doing the sanctioning are going to
attempt to dodge the myriad legal and constitutional issues raised by
government forced speech by saying it's not what they said, they're just
being "bullies" or "harassing" the mentally ill person.

You may actually begin to see the point.
