Washington Post blogger Jennifer Rubin took some serious backlash on Saturday
after she suggested in an X post that the GOP was somehow responsible for
creating the conditions that led to Hamas� unprovoked attack on Israel.

Rubin appeared to be lashing out at Republicans, many of whom had suggested
that President Joe Biden�s failures in foreign policy � particularly the
disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan in 2021 and the recent deal freeing up
$6 billion in Iranian oil money � had ultimately led to the attack on Israel,
a close ally.

AOC just released a video of herself where she is clearly more worried
about the �ethnic cleansing� of the Palestinians than what we all saw
this past weekend, which was the ethnic cleansing of Jews by Hamas.

She does mention supporting Israel�s �defensive capacities�, but that�s
almost an afterthought to her real point, which is to accuse Israel of
perpetrating an ethnic cleansing of Palestinians.

It�s outrageous for AOC to just gloss over the massacre of Jews
committed by Hamas this past weekend and to suggest, even remotely,
that Israel will be carrying out an �ethnic cleansing� of Palestinians.
Her comments are vile but they get even worse.

AOC said �the United States has a responsibility to ensure�that horrors
do not happen in the names of victims who do not want their tragedy
used to justify further violence and injustice.� What the hell? She�s
using these massacred victims to justify her outrageous point about
Israel ethnically cleansing the Palestinians. Israelis were brutally
murdered. They were burned alive. Babies were decapitated. The death
toll is upwards of 1,300 now. Israel has a right and responsibility to
defend itself from this scourge, but all this Jew-hater is worried
about is the poor Palestinians.

President Joe Biden claimed during a press conference on Friday that the
reason Hamas terrorists murdered 1,200 Israelis on October 7 was because he
was getting ready to bring peace to the Middle East.

The claim by Biden comes as chaos and war have broken out in many parts of
the world under his administration as those who would seek to harm the West
sense weakness from the administration.

A reporter asked Biden what cooperation he was hoping to get from Arab
leaders and what he was hearing from them when he talked to them.

�I�m hearing a lot, but I�m not going to speak to it right now,� Biden said.
�There�s an overwhelming desire on the part of the region to � let me back
up. I cannot prove what I�m about to say, but I believe one of the reasons
why Hamas struck when they did was they knew that I was working very closely
with the Saudis and others in the region to bring peace to the region by
having recognition of Israel and Israel�s right to exist.�

�You may recall when we did the G-20 a little while ago, I was able to get a
resolution � a statement passed through there saying we�re going to build a
railroad from Riyadh all the way through the Middle East into Saudi Arabia,

idea is there�s overwhelming interest and I think most Arab nations know in

only variation of his platform being the specific line of attack on former
President Donald J. Trump, this time over the explosion of anti-Semitism in

pulpit, to bellyache about Trump whom he accused of being responsible for
fomenting of anti-Semitic hate and to a lesser degree, the Islamophobia that
the Biden regime insists is practically everywhere at a time when Jews are
being targeted as never before in the U.S.

Speaking with anchor Dana Bash on "State of the Union," Christie was asked
about his previous remarks to the New York Times suggesting that the GOP
frontrunner bore much responsibility for the current climate.

"Governor, I want to ask about the spike in hate against Jews in the United
States. You told The New York Times that you believe former President Donald
Trump's quote 'intolerance for everybody has contributed to this surge in

does, you give permission as a leader for others to have their intolerance
come out. Intolerance towards anyone encourages intolerance towards everyone,

university professors on some of our most elite campuses in this country,
with university administrators and presidents who have been unwilling to

Technically, Doug Emhoff isn't actually in government himself although
his wife certainly is.

I wonder if Emhoff has gotten confused about his own religion after listening to
his wife's questionable takes on Jewish tradition? This two year old
video by Ben Shapiro contains his commentary on a video that Harris and
Emhoff did about Hannukah back then. Shapiro explains very clearly just
how wrong her understanding of the holiday is while Emhoff mostly just
smiles supportively rather than correcting her. Emhoff either doesn't
know the truth or is biting his tongue to avoid upstaging her.

The US government believes having a cellphone is a "necessity", so if
you're poor enough to qualify, they'll give you a free Apple iPhone 13
and on-going limited plan.

A. A cellphone is *NOT* a necessity by any stretch of the imagination
(I've never owned or needed one).

B. There are far cheaper basic smartphones (or even dumbphones) they
could give out, and even cheaper would be a landline phone.

C. Some of these people who qualify will simply on-sell the iPhone
to someone else.

D. Like all governments, they keep claiming to not have enough money
for the actual essential services, yet waste money on idiocy like
this.

I've come across a couple of survey websites (where you're paid to do
surveys) that have suddenly decided to require one for two-factor
authentication ... why such a site bothers with that is a complete
mystery, likely some silly new locla law!

Other than that, there have been the occasional competition that
insists on a mobile phone number and rejects landlines (probably so
they can spam you with text messages). I usually just enter the fake
number 0210000000 and they accept that.

I don't use online banking or anything like that which would actually
benefit from the extra safety of two-factor authentication.

changed the rules and now requires verification by going to some

yourself holding some form of photo ID drivers' license, passport,

not showing my drivers license to the camera. Hell, I won’t even have a

Can't you renew by mail or do you have to take a test to renew your
license? Here , before the Real ID nonsense and after it, you can
renew by mail without taking any tests. At least up until age 64 or
older which is when they start requiring an in-person vision screening
each renewal period. You can even renew an expired license easily if
it only expired less than 2 years ago. Otherwise you have to take all
the tests again.

It gets even sillier. When I visited the verification site to see what
it was about, it lists some of the places that it is used by. One of
them was a well-known forum board (may have been Reddit, I can't
remember now), but when you read the comments on the forum itself, you
see lots of people complaining about how useless it is and that it
doesn't even work properly. :-\

I remembered incorrectly. It wasn't Reddit, it was Trustpilot ... the
website that is supposed to help you to know how trustworthy websites
are. They're own reviewers gave the verification site a score of only
1.4 stars out of 5, with 80% of the reviews giving it only 1 star.

The Veriff verifcation business is also based in Estonia, so yet
another red flag telling any sane person to avoid using it and never
