Proper diagnostic scan tools have had the ability to view live data and
capture it for decades. Yes you can use laptops as you have seen. As an
aside I have an old Win98 laptop that I used for many years to aid in
diagnosing older non-OBD-II compliant cars for which I made my own
serial to OBD/ALDL interface. I'd post a photo but you know what would
happen right?

> Yes you did post "Not a lot of detail..."

And "MAF sensor?". What do you think that means? It's a question asking
if it has one. For what purpose do you think?

Now consider the attack by Noddy (and Daryl in support) neither of which
noticed I was the first to respond which means Noddy's attack is
filled with outright lies about what I do and is completely unprovoked.
So you think that is warranted is it?

That was right after you

Daryl had the car in front of him and seems to be struggling with the
diagnosis, no? If you're going to make an attempt at a remote diagnosis
you need to establish the facts and you do that by asking questions, not
by shotgun diagnosis and denigrating people you say you don't care about
while stroking your ego when you have such limited information at your
disposal to make a correct diagnosis.

> He states it is a "misfire", not a "backfire" at light throttle.

The "backfire" I'm referring to here isn't in relation to the diagnosis
but your crack at me for having a go at them - which has backfired. Read
the exchange and attack on me which Daryl evidently found funny and then
consider that I did try and help *and* was the first to do so.

If you think that was fair and reasonable, well I tried to be a
reasonable human being and help and look where that got me.

"SSDD" I think someone here refers to it as.

They are pretty low tech compared to OEM stuff.

You've really got to wonder why Der Der is so maniacally desperate to be
'relevant'. I'd opine that it's a mixture of a lot of rejections and his
NPD. I do wish that he'd get some professional treatment.

Jesus H fucking Christ! This stupid cunt has the worst persecution
complex that's ever been seen here, doesn't he?

For fuck's sake, he chimes in with a reply to Daryl's post, and the very
first action of his reply is to make an insulting comment of "Sounds
like you need a good mechanic.". So he gets it back, and when he does he
starts pissing and moaning like a little fucking kid who's had someone
else blow out the candles on his birthday cake.

Whinge whinge fucking whinge. "I'm a victim. Everyone's attacking me".

I can't remember the last time there was a bigger fucking *sook* in this
group.

Yes Darren, you have. Definitely the worst I have seen. Probably started
when you were getting bullied at Richmond Tech Secondary School.
Explains why you became the bully here - from the safety of your keyboard.

Yes, Darren, you're getting back what you dished out for so long.

No one could ever top you.

Nothing astonishes Noddy so much as common sense and plain dealing.

So what useful wisdom do you bring to a thread about the technical

5 posts from Alvey in this thread, and not one having any bearing on the
subject. Not surprising since he obviously knows nothing about it.

Well done keith! Shot yourself in *both* feet.

Left foot: *None* of the posts I responded to were on topic.
Right foot: This is usenet keith. People can post what they like. Why some
people even post monstrous lies & mountainous, baseless abuse and *still*
have enablers!

I'd rather be ignorant of whatever the OP was than societal norms...

There you go grumpy. Attacking like a pack of rabid dogs.

You're quick to make comments about gang attacks and bullying but here
you have a classic example of it and you remain silent.

So why now?

Well you do sort of look like a hypocrite clocky when you started by
abusing Daryl. Seems to be that you don't mind throwing shit but don't
like when it flies back in your face.

TBH I don't give a damn about your issues when you haven't got the balls
to stand up to any of the flc and allow them to do exactly the same
thing. That's my issue is that you permit some and complain about others
so build a bridge. As someone said... Karma
