Well, yes Windows II (2) probably isn't compatible with whatever
you're talking about. I can't say I've ever used it myself, but
I think I did try running a program from it in Windows XP once
after reading an article exploring the limits of Windows backwards
compatibility.

Alright I guess you inexplicably typed 'I' instead of '1' and
didn't intend to use Roman numerals, though I still don't know what
you're actually talking about with regards to Windows 11 either.

Microsoft have just about got Wn10 working
The reports about WIN11 will require facial recognition and Edge as
the only browser.

Edge as the only browser? I thought they weren't allowed to do that,
after all the court cases.

The US legal system is so completely fucked that anything is possible there.

Why should I?
I can just save the ISO files Microsoft offers for free. You just need
to save your keys. If Windows 8 or 10 was preinstalled, these are saved
in an UEFI variable you can read out.

This is wrong - at least at this time.
Windows 10 doesn't even requires a Webcam.
You can also install another browser (I tried Pale Moon) and set it as
default.

I assumed he meant that it might be a good idea to get the iso now
in case you might need it later. Not that you should spend any money.

I realise that english isn't likely to be your first language.

Corse it remains to be seen how long the iso continues to work for.

As I know the Win 10 iso work completely offline, just the activation
needs internet connection, maybe they shut down the activation servers
like them for XP (last time I tried activating XP it wasn't possible
anymore)

No, it isn't. I assumed that pay means buying in this context.

There are various reasons I wouldn't "go with it", most of which I
probably mentioned in the "Microsnot is forcing us to buy new
PC's!" thread. But I believe the web cam requirement hasn't been
introduced right away, it's just something they're thinking of
requiring for laptop installations in the future.

A quick web search for the "Edge as the only browser" issue
indicates that the real issue might be that they've made it harder
to change the "default" browser from Edge in W11. Sounds like
typical M$ nonsense, but not nearly as bad as preventing other
browsers from running at all.

The entire Parliament was sacked, for treason under Whitlam
Constitutionally Parties are not recognised. So when a Government was
found to be removing ties to USA and Britain's orbit moving towards
that of the Communist and Third World powers, with strong support for
the "Arab lobby", Britain and USA would of found that treachery.

Arab financiers offered lower interest rates on governmental loans
than US banks/financiers. The Middle East at the time was awash with
"petro-dollars", as the price of oil quadrupled between 1973 and 1974.
Whitlam allowed Saudi Arabs to build a Mosque in Sydney/Lakemba.
Whitlam was a immoral communist working to remove ties to USA and
Britain's orbit moving towards that of the Communist and Third World
powers, with strong support for the "Arab lobby".

OK if one likes WIN 11
When WIN 10 came out many wanted WIN 7 not the downgade WIN 10.
Should not be hard to get the ISO and copy your existing key to unlock
it.

Only the Irish Leprignomes have remained aloof and their family
heritage remains pure and unconfused. Gnome watchers believe that the
reason for this stems from the unfortunate events that led to their
expulsion from the peat bogs of Ireland in the late 1700s. It is
thought that the ambitious Leprignomes encroached on the territorial
boundaries of the intellectually superior Leprechauns. The Grand
Legislature of Leprechauns banished the ringleaders of this audacious
uprising to Australia. As a parting gesture they cast such a powerful
spell on the Leprignomes that, even today, they remain too shy to
associate with other gnome species.

Pretty much as I see things also.
When if this Computer gives up the ghost I will be buying another one.
Which no doubt will be loaded with WIN11

If I don't like it I should be able to do a clean install of WIN 10
over it.

My computer before this was WINme and after it went way of dodo my
next was WIN 8, after that WIN 10 both crap
So I intend to have a WIN 10 iso along with WIN 10 actvation key to
piss it off if need be. Big cost is the software I own being
compatable

I have but one desktop computer left running Window10. My newest laptop
is never going to run Windows anything, it's a Macbook Air! ;-)
It lets me use any browser I want but, truth be known, the Safari
browser OS/X came with is more than up to the task.

Everyone wants to carry on using what they have because it's a stable
system.

Microsoft allows organisations to buy extended support, but normal
consumers can't do this, so we are just the guniea pigs. You just have
to accept this.

That’s overstated.

Well, they let me use my choice of alternative browser so it isn't all
their way or the highway. And I can install alternative apps, like
Audacity, Libre Office, VLC and more - all work and all can be set to
default if desired. However, that said, I find the default browser,
Safari, to be *better* than the alternatives.
