If you like "Edge browser" and what ever Microsoft dumps your way?
Were just advising one makes sure they keep a Win10 back-up in case
Win11 does not agree with one!

Only the Irish Leprignomes have remained aloof and their family
heritage remains pure and unconfused. Gnome watchers believe that the
reason for this stems from the unfortunate events that led to their
expulsion from the peat bogs of Ireland in the late 1700s. It is
thought that the ambitious Leprignomes encroached on the territorial
boundaries of the intellectually superior Leprechauns. The Grand
Legislature of Leprechauns banished the ringleaders of this audacious
uprising to Australia. As a parting gesture they cast such a powerful
spell on the Leprignomes that, even today, they remain too shy to
associate with other gnome species.

I tried chrome, did not like it at all, personal preference I guess. I
tried Brave recently too, nah, not to my liking either. Still, I will
look at everything and give it a go.

I abhor the Edge Browser. Why can't M$ learn, if something works, don't
dick with it. M$ consistently inconsistent UI is one of the (many)
reasons I forsook Windoze.

fuck M$! they said windows 10 would be the last windows EVER. now
they've introduced win11 which is incompatible with many older PC's.
this PC i'm using is probably over 10 years old, maybe even 15 years
old, I can't remember when I built it, and running windoze10, and does
everything I need, including gaming. there's really no need to keep
updating PC's if M$ didn't force us to!

If M$ always gave us options to use other programs, instead of forcing
us to use theirs, or trying to, ppl wouldn't hate them so much.

I read it but just opinion.

Others I read claim MS will insist on the use of their exclusive MS
products

Until it arrives no one knows
If you run WIN10 you need to do this often

This can take some time
In the search box on the taskbar, type Command Prompt, and right-click
or press and hold Command Prompt (Desktop app) from the list of
results. Select Run as administrator, and then select Yes.

Type DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth (note the space
before each "/"), and then press Enter. (Note: This step may take a
few minutes to start and up to 30 minutes to complete.)

After you see a message that says "The operation completed
successfully," type sfc /scannow (note the space between "sfc" and
"/") and press Enter.

After you see a message that says, "Verification 100% complete," type
exit.

Not entirely Mac. I have a Windoze machine on hand in the other room,
one of the earliest Intel Quadcores, a Core 2 Quad Q6700, still runs and
on Win10. Might have another Win box in the cupboard running Win7 with a
Core 2 Quad Q6600 circa early 2007, but I'd have to drag it out and fire
it up to be sure. I paid a lot of money for that Quadcore when they
first came out. I was the first in my coterie of like minded computer
geek friends to have one and when I demonstrated it at a monthly
meeting, blew them all away. Next month I was no longer the sole
quadcore owner, they had all gone out and upgraded to a quadcore. Linux
Box in the same cupboard alongside a *spare* Mac Pro. FWIW, the *only*
reason I have any Win Boxen on hand at all is to run the odd program for
which I don't have a Mac version and to archive my email. Email archive
dates back some 25 years.
