I paid £1 each for large no-name cylinders back in the 90s, giving a lifetime's supply of powercut lighting. Is there a cheaper way to get gas?
The lights are about 60w equivalent output iirc.

Humanity has been using unvented gas indoors for a long time, and it's still widespread permitted practice. Or are you a gashobphone?
It's hard to knock a lamp over when it's attached to a hook just above head height, but maybe you can.
PM10, well the quantity is miniscule compared to car exhaust, and I've inhaled enough of that. I bet vacuum cleaners create far more.

how have you managed to rust ally canisters?

It's normal practice to store canisters on lights & blowlamps indoors, just as it's normal to use mains gas appliances supplied via rubber hoses & rubber sealing rings. Anything can go wrong, but there doesn't seem to be a serious risk in practice.

I dunno about you, I've never had any difficulty walking to that bit of the room to light the gas light, or the electric one when those have been used, in darkness. Do you have a disorientation issue?

I do as it happens have two gas ovens and a gas hom. There is an
extracftor fan installed which is wired into the main cooker power
switch (the two grills are both electric and its got electronic ignition)

So turn on the cooker switch to power the gas ignition and the extractor
fan comes on automatically.

As the Kitchen room size is less than the recommended room volume for 2
gas ovens and 5 gas hobs, electromechanically assisted ventilation is
needed to get the GasSafe pass so it can pull air into the kitchen.

> PM10, well the quantity is miniscule compared to car exhaust, and I've inhaled enough of that. I bet vacuum cleaners create far more.
