Hi,

I finally met Margit and got stuck with it, couldn't leave the area so
I came back alive at the Castlewood Tunnel site of grace.

But before Marget, I was asked if I want to summon a cooperator -
Sorcer Ranger.

I am playing off line. What is that all about?

I still can't figure out how to lighten my load. I put a bunch of
stuff in the chest but still am a heavy load. I don't think I have
much on me.

I will look up Margit but I think I need to go elsewhere. My
Confesser doesn't have a whole lot to fight with, although level 36
str 21 Vigor 22 Faith I think 15 or so. I increased dexterity a
couple of times.

It's an NPC summon, there's a few.

It's what you have equipped - on the equipment screen, not the
inventory. Try swapping for lighter or taking armor and weapons
off.

Heavy load isn't real bad, you don't roll as far, and get 1 less
invincibility frame, though stamina regens slower, which
isn't good. You really don't want to go into overloaded though,
you can't even roll if you do that.

That's not bad. Do you have the halberd from the horseman at
the start yet? I think you can two hand it with those stats.

You may just want to go around Stormveil and on to the lakes
a bit. There's some easy stuff to get in Caelid too (the red land)
though there's some real hard stuff there too. Those giant
crows are nasty.

Going around Stormveil you go north from the entrance hugging
the wall/cliff.

Definitely do this! I forget if you can also summon spirits for this
fight, but yeah use the npcs to distract while you move behind and get in a
backstab or throw bombs or poison arrows (what I used) and heal. Your hits
in turn will keep the boss from killing the npc, and I cycle back and forth
in this manner for all the bosses so far. Remember to use the Physic flask
just before the fight and equip any talismans you might have also.

I wouldn't sweat it if it suits your playstyle. I've been a 'heavy load'
the entire game. Put a point into Endurance to raise this stat
occasionally.

the Weeping Peninsula, there's a lot to do there!

I only have one item for the Physic Flask (which I may have started
with) so I cannot use it yet (as far as I know).

I don't know anything about Talismans yet.

Well, I somehow found the Sofia River Wells Depth SOG. Supposed to be
tough, but I think I will mess around there and avoid the bad stuff.

I got in a fight with a big crab after killing it's offspring but I
ran away in time before dying. I wonder if I can handle crabs now?

Crabs can be easy or hard.

Sofia river is more like for level 60+. The clay men aren't too hard if you
can isolate them, the problem is they come in large numbers and hit
hard at your level. They look slow but they've got long reach and
they like to roll at you in herds.

You can collect the crafting items and few items in the area before you get
to them safely though. You can also ride your horse.

Yeah, I got out of there (barely)!! :-)

Back on dry land where the land of runes are slim and leveling up
takes forever.

Went way south. Met the guy on the bridge telling me about Lord
Kenneth. Found this lit cross where a "ghost" started walking and
leaving tracks in the dirt. Made it to Fort Haight West. Lots and
lots of big bears. One scratching a tree. Maybe I could have started
something with that one. Spent a lot of time running away from bears
and a giant.

Back at Church of Elleh until Sunday or Monday. Heading out of town.

But I did manage to upgrade my broadsword to +3 there because I found
a couple of smithing stones. I was told that armanent cannot be
strenghend any further at the smithing table.

Found some other cool stuff down there. I need to check my stock when
I get back home and figure out what they are and what to do with them.

Also jellyfish ashes when I want back to a SOG on the way to the
castle.

The jellyfish isn't bad, it's pretty tough, and good at distracting, but it does
very little damage -though it spits poison which can eventually build up
on big targets like Margit. It's probably better on Margit than the wolves.

The best one on Margit is probably the headless one, it costs over 100
fp to summon though, so you need to invest mind up to 21 I think it is
once you get it from impaler's catacombs.

I think I know what the three bars are, but what is the big area on
the left that is always empty. It looks like a picture frame.

There is a smaller on under the bars.Last night there was an icon in
the lower-right corner.

to beat Godrick, who's at the other end of Stormveil after you
beat Margit before you get one.

The first one is the church where you got the physic flask.
The other two are places (he highlights on the map, you can see where if you pause it)
where there's flask upgrades. I think you got the second one since that's near the
lady in red and white at a glowing bush just south of Stormveil. The third one is a castle,
not sure if you've been there yet. There's a very nasty blood knight (with a very good art
of war) at the top, and a pumpkinhead outside, but you can get to the glowing bush and
get the seed by riding by them and back away without going in the castle.

the person all his/her runes to go to a sight of grace or whatever?

That thing is dangerous in my pouch or quick items (I forget).

and just want to get unstuck so go back to the grace.
