>You are blaming the victims for the crimes.

I guess you think the Uvalde police are victims too.
The Cap Po Only have 2 jobs
1. Protect the Capitol
2. Drive drunk Kennedys home.

Since the voters sent the last of the Kennedys packing, they only have
one job and they failed miserably.
One unintended thing coming out of this witch hunt is just how long
the legis;lative branch knew there was going to be thousands of
protestors on Jan 6. They didn't do anything until the morning of the
6th. They didn't even cancel vacations and bring in people on
overtime. There was no particular effort to get help from anywhere
else. The idea that the house speaker can't pressure other agencies is
ludicrous.

"That's a real nice appropriations bill you have there. It would be a
shame if something bad happened to it".

Trump was gone in 2 weeks, Nancy was still there. They would come
running.

The issues and crimes go well beyond the riot and invasion of the capitol. It seems very clear that there was an overall conspiracy by Trump, his lawyers and his staff to prevent the accurate tabulation, and subsequent certification, of the electoral college vote. Not being privy to the thinking of the DOJ, I can only guess how they may proceed. Most likely in my opinion is that they will bring charges against Trump lawyers and staff that actively participated in schemes to flip electoral votes. Facing the threat of serious prison time, they may be offered immunity in exchange for testimony that incriminates Trump. Armed with that kind of evidence the DOJ might then be ready to bring charges against the orange menace. Stay tuned and pass the popcorn.

>The issues and crimes go well beyond the riot and invasion of the capitol. It seems very clear that there was an overall conspiracy by Trump, his lawyers and his staff to prevent the accurate tabulation, and subsequent certification, of the electoral college vote. Not being privy to the thinking of the DOJ, I can only guess how
they may proceed. Most likely in my opinion is that they will bring charges against Trump lawyers and staff that actively participated in schemes to flip electoral votes. Facing the threat of serious prison time, they may be offered immunity in exchange for testimony that incriminates Trump. Armed with that kind of evidence the
DOJ might then be ready to bring charges against the orange menace. Stay tuned and pass the popcorn.

I understand all the fiery rhetoric coming out of the DNC and their
media minions has your nipples getting hard but it is a long way from
accused to convicted.
In the mean time, the motive is clear. They don't give a shit about
how to prevent another attack on the Capitol. The only focus is
getting Trump for something that will prevent him from running again.
The crimes that might make it to verdict won't do that.

Hitler wrote Mein Kamph in prison. ;-)

You can kill Trump but you still need to deal with the discontent out
in flyover land that let him be president in the first place. Double
digit inflation and higher interest on their loans is not going to buy
you love from that crowd.
The real victory will be for the guy who can scoop up that vote
without pissing off too many people like you.

Harry will vote for the yellow dog.

I probably won't vote for either of them.

Holy shit! You won't answer the legitimate questions posed by either
Greg or Bill, but it's obvious you've become entralled with the live
action bullshit displayed by the one-sided hearing.

Did Trump break a law? Why is the FBI not investigating such?

The whole thing ... the "rally" and the protest at the Capital
was anticipated well before Jan 6. Trump knew because he
authorized National Guard troops to help protect the Capital.
I don't think someone intent on a successful insurrection
would do that. The Democrats, including the DC mayor and Nancy Pelosi
refused the assistance. Why?

It's as if many *wanted* an incident to occur. Greg's right.
The Democrats are scrambling due to the Ignoramus they put in
the White House and will do *anything* to keep Trump from
running again. "Russia, Russia, Russia" certainly proves
that.

Meanwhile, this morning I see the Ignoramus in Chief is not only
continuing his blame game on Big Oil, (although he's going
to skip the meeting that was scheduled with them today) he's now
demanding that individual gas station owners lower their gas prices to
their cost.

What a buffoon we have as POTUS.

Armed with that kind of evidence the DOJ might then be ready to bring charge
s against the orange menace. Stay tuned and pass the popcorn.

Stay tuned for what? Cirque De Jan 6 Committee? Id rather watch
footage of Joey forgetting to put his foot down.

Unfortunately, the Capitol Police, but for one, were reluctant to shoot
those who burst into the building. The Mossad is Israel's anti-terrorist
organization. An appropriate group of Israeli uniformed forces would
have dealt appropriately with the crazed Trumpists.

==
What makes you think that the FBI is not investigating? Laws were clearly broken but the DOJ does not want to pull the trigger until all their ducks are in a row. It's as simple as that.
