They have got more land, fool, and more safety.
Sanctions don't mean loss of land, fool.
Putin has got more land including a land route from Crimea to Russia.
He has got the canal water for Crimea, now blocked.
Two new republics, his allies and future part of Russia.
Those are his gains, fool.
Economies become big or small, hardly matters. What matters is land and who owns it.

But not in Ukraine, creep. Nor Georgie, creep.
Now, fuck off, creep. You make me sick.

Yet, but not enough, even so, they are kicking Russian butts.

To the Marxist freedom is a threat. BTW, did you see that picture
of Putin on a horse? Putin needs a bra, big time.

BTW thought progressives and Marxists said Trump was in Putin's
pocket?

But it's well known and recorded

In 1998 Yeltsin appointed Vladimir Putin, a KGB veteran who would
later succeed Yeltsin as federal president, as director of the
FSB.[10] Putin was reluctant to take over the directorship, but once
appointed conducted a thorough reorganization, which included the
dismissal of most of the FSB's top personnel.[2] Putin appointed
Nikolai Patrushev as the head of FSB in 1999.[6]

Anyone who is stupid enough to click on links posted by you can easily do
that by going back in the thread and read your post directly.
I am under NO obligation to repost second hand anything you link to.

Anyhow, more often than not the linked articles you use as justification
for you idiot assertions do not support any of it.
And this is clearly the case here, too!
> Putin is a typical commie.

U L L S H I T!
You still don't know what communism is so there you go...

YAWN! I don't lie and you are unable to prove it otherwise.

> businessinsider link SNIP

DOUBLE YAWN! posting it once in the thread is more than enough!

Busting Petz's idiotic hate propaganda sig is as follows:

> They just weren't doing Communism properly,
> Say all of today's Communists?

Would you disagree? On what grounds?
Care to cite which section in Marx's Communist Manifesto or even the
policy platform of Lenin calls for the establishment of an authoritarian
state capitalist personal cult terror state resulting in irresponsible
economical mismanagement and total annihilation of grassroots democracy?

Of course you, Petz dear have been told that by a number of poster beside
me dozens of times but to no avail. You insist on spewing your goon-bag

YAWN! Cry me a river. I just don't give a shit.
I live in the present not in the past. I do have problems with what Putin
is doing to Russia and Ukraine...harping about what was Putin's role
during the USSR in the state security and intelligence apparatus helps no
one today.

You are getting desperate trying to find confirmations for your own
idiotic pet hate theories and assumptions:

You hate communists and communism (although have no fucking idea about
what communism is).
Putin is not a nice chap, that is no secret to anyone on the planet who
does not hid him/herself in a cave for decades on end. So you are trying
to present your case to this newsgroup suggesting that Putin is so
horrible because he must be a communist...and to make that plausible you
start to dig into the past with innuendos, anecdotes and drivel by some
self appointed "experts" circulated wisdom on the subject. What's worse,
you have transferred your anti communist phobia on the Russian nation
looking forward seeing them nuked by the USA/NATO just to satisfy your
personal hate and love for seeing a nice bloodbath on your hate objects.
You are fucking disgusting, Petz dear.
> Federal Security Service (FSB), actually "violated" guidelines
> stipulating that only a general can hold this post.

And I, or anyone should care about that today..why?
Does this make any fucking difference to the ugly war in Ukraine? Does
this change the status of his strongman-authoritarianism and hard
capitalist rule over the Russian people? Sane people realise that
certainly NOT!

STOP posting fucking irrelevant nonsense on this subject!

Oh, and by the way, just to reflect on the original subject of this long
thread:
Whatever nastiness Putin and his regime in Russia is guilty of, that
absolutely does not excuse similar behaviour (albeit often more covert
than overt) on the part of warmongering US neocons and imperialists.

~~~
~~~

Of course you, Petz dear have been told that by a number of poster beside
me dozens of times but to no avail. You insist on spewing your goon-bag
fumes idiocy into Usenet.

But put the credit where the credit is due for this gem of a hatemonger
crap:

He has no way of knowing, the has scuttled off to the USA years before
that.

Nope, Kalugin has said he was only ever a Major,
because Putin chose to leave the KGB before he
would have automatically become a leftenant colonel.

Yeltsin never bothered with guidelines, stupid.

Until they worked out that he was a double agent.

Kalugan makes it clear that he did not.

So Putin was never a general even in the FSB.

The Ukrainians have in fact killed more russian troops in
just 6 weeks than the Afghans killed in a whole decade.

That is mindless bullshit too with the deliberate wiping
out of the theater full of refugees in maripole and the
most recent rocket attack on the railway station.

No. I don't think so.
They are passionate and idealistic. They take Christianity in the original sense, in the spirit of self-sacrifice, so they are not materialistic. They are spiritual. Very serious; too much so, perhaps.
That may not suit the modern atheists, materialists, selfish-greedy sorts; and as they are so different from the ROC, there is tension.
As to who is evil, and who is good, is impossible to say off-hand unless we are talking about known devils like Bush2: used 911 explosions to fund his mates in wars and invasions.
In certain positions one lot is good, and in other positions evil. Depends upon point of view. A terrorist to one, is a hero to another.

> >Quite the opposite of Marxism.
> Not in ethics.

In all its entirety, Western "civilization" (if that ever happens it will be a good idea - as Gandhi once mentioned) has no use for ethics for its own sake. It is based upon law and opportunism. Wars and divorces are the natural outcomes.
Marxism is the least ethical, true.
Other Western religions support ethics when it suits. They are based upon belief, relating to salvation in the afterlife - not ethics. Ethics is not fundamental - never was even in their pagan times.
They are not Indian yet!

Trump has some genuine American qualities, that I admire.
I saw a photo of him handling the luggage of some guests to one of his hotels.
Now that is what made America what it was. Scums have taken over - totally - quite recently.
My respects for him. He is USA's best hope.
Biden is also good - at least he has not started a nuclear war yet and what more can one expect from any potus?

Cheers,

Russia lost 20 million in the WW2 and if there is a WW3 with nukes, which is what Zelensky is asking for, they may lose 30-40 million.
Putin is attacking Ukraine to prevent that catastrophe.
The fool Zelensky has asked civilians to fight the Russians. Throw Molotov cocktails. He is fighting behind the civilians, so Putin says.
Obviously civilians will get killed in such strategies. They should be evacuated.
Sad, but rather you than I, is what Putin may say. Very american, what?
