I have already suggested verbally "cheapest and most convenient legal
means" but I won't put that in writing. Any surviving relatives might
want some ceremony, I suppose. As I won't be there except as cold,

don't really care.

This. Rent a tank of helium from a party company, then tape a balloon
over your head in the parking lot of a local final hospice care
facility. They deal with death and won't be as stressed out as someone
at home.

brothers, would bother painting airfkx models, let alone toy soldiers.
Sure, I'd stick the transfers on, but painting them just seemed like
faff for the sake of faff.

Champ is older by about 2 weeks and we grew up in adjacent counties about
20 miles apart - I would have to go to Gloucester city where he lived to
catch a train or go to certain shops not in my little market town.

Nobody else should have to clean up your shit and it's fair exchange for all the fish and crustaceans you have necked ;o)

A dynamic final experience, off the 300ft cliffs of Dunnet Head (or similar) with a North Atlantic storm smashing in. That has to have been an incredible (brief) experience.

Cliffs. 30ft crashing waves. Nothing left to recover. Was rather my point.
I expect your local hospice can also do without the hassle

I believed intact bodies do not surface from cold deep water. By the wonders of the interweb:

The lifeguards have recovered too many bodies off the cliffs which
proves that false. An old friend had a yacht and sailed miles offshore
where he disappeared, but I don't own a yacht.
