At least one person was prosecuted for failing to put their ballot paper
into the ballot box, or perhaps it was for going straight to the ballot
box without marking their paper. Not sure now.

Either way, if it can be proven that you didn't vote, then you can be
fined. Take your paper to a booth, mark it however you feel like, then
put it into the box, and you're safe.
