They will keep doing this. And it encourages others to do the the

That doesn't seem like a deal. I don't give a rat's a** if they're
cage-free.

You think not wanting to torture animals is sanctimonious. How sick is
that?

The last dozen eggs I got were local eggs for $6.19. The were indeed cage-free eggs. Beats the heck out of me what that means. Mostly, it's a marketing term used to sell eggs. I just buy the eggs according to price. They seem to be pretty good eggs. I am satisfied with their performance.

Cage-free probably means factory chickens with no daylight. No cages,
but thousands stuffed into a big shed.

Our rock is pretty much cage-free chicken central. Live free or die hard!

Your whole spiel here is based on sanctimony. What else ya got? Do you
not think that killing fish and crustaceans is not as bad?
Is breathing oxygen out of water your criteria for cuisine? For shame!
Go to the back of the class! You're a killer. Does your wife know?

That's perfect communist ideology. Equate something that has nothing
to do with something else, and expect the masses to buy in. Bravo!

Feral chickens don't have much of a chance here, between (feral) dogs,
(feral) cats, snakes, goannas and eagles. I don't know how they
survive for any amount of time in Hawaii.

I think from bad to better is
caged
cage-free
free-range
Of course, how that's all legally defined and enforced differs per
country.

I rarely eat fish or other seafood, but I'm not alone in the world.

Besides, you shouldn't preach. You'll eat anything that fits in your

Lol, that has nothing to do with communism. The word "communist"
actually has a specific meaning. It doesn't mean "everything Leo
doesn't like".

That's your rock, not my rock. The cats and chickens have mostly learned to live with one another. I can't say how that works but the chickens eat bugs and the cats aren't eating the chickens. I see less cats around than there were a decade ago. Perhaps the chickens are eating the cats. We don't have any feral dogs around here. Eagles? I wish!

Good for the chickens. Maybe cats only attack chicks, not adult
chickens.

a political theory derived from Karl Marx, advocating class war and
leading to a society in which all property is publicly owned and
each person works and is paid according to their abilities and needs.

It would appear to have nothing to do with
>That's perfect communist ideology. Equate something that has nothing
>to do with something else, and expect the masses to buy in. Bravo!

I think the word you needed was "marketing". For example, the
various "smoking will make you sexy" advertising campaigns. Or
"our perfume shows you have good taste".
