The likely outcome will be Biden beats Trump, the Senate flips to
Republican majority and the House flips to Democratic majority. If
Trump gets convicted of any Federal crimes, the Democratic President
will commute any sentence, but not pardon him. As far as State charges
are concerned, that would be up to the Governors of those States. He's
not likely to be shown much leniency in New York.

I'd say, let him out on a super high bond, but don't take away his
passport. Let him go to a country that would not extradite him--meaning
Russia. :-)
