The US mainstream media (NY Times, Washington Post, CNN, CBS, MSNBC, National Public Radio/TV, Associated Press...) increasingly resemble the "state media" of the old Soviet Bloc, e.g. Soviet Pravda/Izvestia/TASS, East German Neues Deutschland, and the present - day Cuban and North Korean "media organs"...

It may. OTOH, a really thorough trouncing might make the Palestinians
realize that they were defeated. Look at post WWII Germany and Japan.
They had started the war and were so badly beaten they had to face the
fact that they had been totally defeated.

I find it difficult to fault Israel for striking back at their
attackers when the cowardly bastards are firing from civilian areas. You
can't attack while hiding behind women and children and then whine about
your enemy killing women and children in their response. The military
has ways of figuring out where rockets and mortars are fired from, and
they care more about eliminating those threats than about killing the
civilians who stuck around while they were were doing it.

By the way, I'm not saying that Americans are dumber than Europeans or
Australians. That's unlikely. But in the US the dumber ones have a
stronger tendency to vote for a clown, apparently.

AFAIK lucretia lived through the Blitz in WWII. She must have been very
young but it is not to be discounted. Bruce lives in his own little
bubble on the outside, sitting back criticizing everything. Have a bite
