Kind of like this story.

<https://notalwaysright.com/loyalty-thy-name-is-dog/237505/>

Local police collect a student from school and take him
to his home. It turns out that a burglar got chased up a
tree in the yard by the family dog - on his way /out/ of
the house, so, good dog, but...

The neighbour has called the police, and one officer goes
to arrest the guy in the tree. The dog isn't on the same
page and he chases the officer up the tree.

The student is brought in just in time to prevent another
police officer from shooting his dog.

Kinda makes you sorry the Usual Suspects kept pulling out their
favorite Gun Control Measures every time a shooting happened --
without checking to see if what they were proposing would have in any
way impeded that particular event.

A State full of armed people whose Gov has stated he believes should
be free to do anything they like. Any bets he's under the delusion
that only White Republican Males have guns?

Myself, I'm waiting for them to decide that age limits are
unconstitional, and then start to arm grade-schoolers.

Won't /that/ be fun!

A point he made later on in his post, in the part you snipped out.
And he's right. The odds of getting 2/3 of the states to agree to an
amendment that does not *expand* the right during our lifetimes is
zero.

Except in places like New York City, where Democrats are in charge,
and wipe their ass with the Contitution, especially the 2nd
Amendment.

There's shootings are up 70% since the pandemic started.

It happens regularly. The "news" media doesn't cover it because it
generally ends up with the perp in custody (perhaps shot, but
usually not) and no one else the worse for wear.

In the diseased fantasy in your head, you won't believe it, and
everybdy excpet perhaps Lynn knows better the to waste their time
providing links to the very rare "news" stories, but you may find
one yourself that actually proves you wrong (as you always do,
literally every single time) while you hallucinate otherwise.

Texas is the *twenty* *first* state to do this. That means there
are *twenty* other states that have *already* done it, some of them
decades ago. There's nothing *new* here. There's *decades* of data
on how it turns out.

!005 of the data says that, as usually, you're a fucking *idiot*.

Now go masturbate to your insane revenge fantasies before the
nurses take your lotion away. Again.

That Texas is the 21st state to do this means there's *twenty*
otehr states that already have.

Do you have any reason, other than your own insane hallucinations,
that this time will turn out differently? Or are you so
disconnected from reality that you're literally hallucinating a
world in which those other 20 states have had mass carnage that
simpely doesn't exist in the real world?

The only places with rising murder rates these days are liberal
paradises, like New York City, and Portland, where the authorities
literally protect violent felons from any possible consequences,
including prosecution.

That's simply not true. "Enough gun control" is when they have all
teh guns, and can kill anyone they want at any time for no reason
without fear of any consequences. They've made that *very* clear.

Strictly speaking, there are quite a few guns of all sorts in the UK,
and gun crimes are rising.

Murder rates have been rising during the pandemic, especially in
liberal paradises like NYC and Portland.

Especially in light of historical data, which makes it clear that
the case is *impossible* to make, unless you goal is to increase
violent crime. This is so well established by the data that is
increasingly ridiculous to assume that the goal of the gun grabbers
is anything else.

The first thing to admit is that someone killed with a gun is not
somehow magically more dead than someone killed with a knife, or a
baseball bat, or a bomb.

That's is one of the classic *lies* by the gun grabbers, that only
*gun* crime matters (and their insane fantasies won't have much
effect on that, either), and that increases in other kind of
violent crime are preferable to gun crimes (which, of course, is
actually true of gun grabbers - they *do* want *more* violent
crime).

Typical of the left: We don't like constitutional protections, so
we're going to ignore them and kill anyone who objects. The people
who voted for that law should be executed for treason.
>
> Guns don't cause criminality, but they do facilitate kililngs

And they prevent killings. According to the science - which you
don't believe in, obviously - they prevent crime at least twice and
as much as ten times as often as they are used to commit crime.

Another bullet point *lie* by the gun grabbers, in their quest to
make the life of violent criminals safer.
..
> It's much harder for an unarmed person to defend against someone
> yards away shooting at him than it is to possibly resist a
> knife-wielding attacker.

According to the FBI data, if you are the victim of a felony
assault or robbery, the *best* response to not be injured is to
have a gun and use it. The second best response is passive
cooperation, which leave you *twice* as likely to be seriously
injured or killed.

This has all been explained to you, personally, before. More than
once. Even your tiny little brain must retain these facts by now.
Ergo, it *must* be your, specific, personal goal to encourage
*more* violent crime, and make violent criminals safer.

And that makes you a subhuman animal that should be put down as a
matter of public safety.

It doesn't even do that. Mass killings have been done with knives,
and bombs. The kind of mass killings is gasoline. He knows this.
It's very, very obvious that he *wants* more violent crime. It
simply isn't possible that he has any other goal in mind, because
if he were so mentally damaged as to not understand that is the
*inevitable* result of what he advocates, he'd be incapable of
posting to Usenet, or do much of anything else.

It is polistically inadvisable to *say* "we're banning self
defense." The most effective way to ban self defense without
admitting you're doing so is to ban all effective means of self
defense.

The *goal* is to make the life of a violent criminal safer. It
*can't* be anything else, not after so many *decades* of data.

It happens often enough for Wikipedia to have a page on it.

And only a retard - like you - could possibly hallucinate that the
only possible alternative to a mass shooting is a mass stabbing.
Bombs are far more likely, and the king of mass murder is gasoline.

Gang related shootings are more common that domestic disuptes.

Automobiles kill more people in the typical year that guns, and
yes, automobiles have been used for mass killings. The Santa Monica
farmter's market incident, which wasn't deliberate and still killed
10 and injured 70, comes to mind.

Try to ban cars. Go head, try. (Oh, wait, liberal fascists are
tryign to do that, too.)

Guns make it a lot easier to protect yourself. But, being a Canadian,
you don't believe in self defense because you're not allowed to.

According to the science you don't believe in, guns are used 2-10
times as often to prevent crime as to commit it.

You've been told that before. Clearly, you *want* to cause *more*
violent crime.

A ban on guns *has* caused problems for law-abiding citizens.

It's in the news every day. And you have *never* admitted when
proof has been offered. You *always* lie, literally *every*
*single* *time*.

Go play your insane, childish games with somebody as stupid as you
are, retard. Your stance advocating for more violent crime makes
you, like Quaddie, literally a subhuman animal who should be put
down as a matter of public safety.
