Not by you. But I had a conversation in an Android forum where a woman told me computers are dinosaurs and would soon disappear, and everyone would do everything on phones. She has a real keyboard and monitor connected to her phone and uses it like we use a computer. Very odd.

I was going to say I feel older, but you have similar health problems to me so maybe not.

As far as ideas go, I'd say I'm more old fashioned than you. I don't ever type much on my phone. I use it only for texts, calls, and the internet when I'm away from home and want to look something up, or pass the time watching youtube when waiting for someone.

Can't anything do that? On Opera I'd go to the folder I'm interested in, say "sent", and type "penguin" into the search box at the top. It immediately (dunno how it finds them so fast) only displays the posts with penguin in it.

Teenagers are the correct form of people. Adults have become too serious (the comedian Alan Davies suggested this and I agree fully). Ever heard of the phrase "young at heart"?

Did you not understand my analogy? People who hate X are not likely to be X. If Mr smith was a homosexual, he wouldn't go around proclaiming they're all evil, thats not in his best interests.

I absolutely doubt your accuracy. Your claim is rather absurd... pretty much
any product you get will be tied to some safety standards or regulations. And
you have no evidence to back the idea they are not. Not a single product which
fails to have any such standards. Not one.

So, yes, I doubt your rather outrageous claim.

I understand why your analogy is a side issue and not relevant... it is a
false equivalency. And, again, I tend to go with evidence and not your gut
feelings. Your gut feelings are not evidence.

Here is one study:

https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/8772014/
-----
Homophobia is apparently associated with homosexual arousal that the
homophobic individual is either unaware of or denies.
-----

This has been replicated and found repeatedly to be true.

I do more and more on my phone these days.

Exactly they're both stupid. I go to download a program for my phone and it says "this is compatible with lollipop and upwards". How the fuck do I know if a candy is more than a lollipop? I'm not a fucking child, I know how to count.

it was a deliberate misspelling of a popular type of apple.

the names are dessert names (not candy) that are alphabetically
sequential.

anyone who knows the alphabet will have no problem whatsoever, even a

given the evidence, you very much are, and you don't.

how is it not ridiculous to have only one folder open?

not that it matters, since there is no requirement that there be two
folders open. one folder will easily work, and in some cases, no open
folders at all.

if you're going to bash, it's best to find actual problems, not made up
shit.

The apple variety is McIntosh. The Macintosh name is based on that, but either
on accident or purpose they misspelled it. I would like to think on purpose.

I actually tend to agree with you and prefer numbers... but what the hell
happened to Windows 4 through 94? And then what type number is NT. And then
what version of Windows 10 or Windows 11 are you running? How do you
differentiate? The latest Windows 10 version is, from what I just found on
line, "20H2". What the hell is that about?

2020, 2nd half.

initially, win10 updates used names:

anniversary update
creator's update
fall creator's update

then they used year/month (e.g., 1903, 1909), which posed a problem
with windows 10 2003 because it conflicted with windows server 2003
from long ago, so they bumped the win10 update to 2004, which still
confused people.

now it's year/half, which gives them some breathing room as to when
it's actually released.

Spring loaded folders. There were also third party apps to give you a shelf. I
can see your point, and I think this counts as a place where Windows *was*
ahead, but it was rarely an issue. Also not like PDF Services is a huge deal.

Why would you have to? Why not use Spring Loaded folders. But I do get your
point -- sorta why I like PDF Services, no need to dig through folders. Never
thought of how those were similar... so thank you.

The evidence of climate change is made up to continue the government's embarrassing spending on it. It and covid are also causing worry warts like you to overreact.

When have I "played victim"?

Not sure what you mean by that. When you print you can choose to print some
range -- say pages 6 through 10. The PDF menu lets you do the same, with the
exact same settings.

Correct. No need to dig. As you noted with copy / paste of files, there is
benefit to not having to navigate as much.

You have no answer... it does not impact functionality in any way you can
think of.

See: you deny the evidence. I like to go with evidence, you often reject
evidence.

Above where you whined about it being noted when you failed to understand. You
blame others. Oh well.
