Interesting comments.

I challenge you.

Install ClamXav on a Mac computer and run a full scan.

Then check - as you are so competent - that there's no Rootkit on the
machine.

Then uninstall ClamXav.

Then inspect said machine to review what it has left behind - lurking!

Please report your findings for everyone to review.

I already live there! (Devon is heaven as my dear mum used to say!)

Btw - my wife returned from Bridge tonight and reported that one of her
fellow players has recently become a widow. Her husband had been fit and
well, was a regular golf player, had had all thee Covid jabs but caught
it - and died - ONLY of Covid.

The Lord giveth, and the Lord taketh away.

Looks like the UK is sticking its nose into Russia. Stop wasting our taxes!

a few years ago.

ere-much-more-damaging-than-thought/>
Donald Trump¹s tariffs and the trade war his administration launched
against China turned out to be far more damaging than many believed.
That is the conclusion of research finding companies, consumers and
the U.S. economy paid a heavy price for the Trump administration¹s
protectionist trade policies.

> > you are both a bigot and clueless.

so what?

a lot of things are built in china, including just about all consumer
electronics, clothing and quite a bit more.

<https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Foxconn>
Notable products manufactured by Foxconn include the BlackBerry,
iPad, iPhone, iPod, Kindle, all Nintendo gaming systems since the
GameCube (except subsequent Nintendo DS models), Nokia devices,
Sony devices (including the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 gaming
consoles), Google Pixel devices, Xiaomi devices, every successor
to Microsoft's first Xbox console,[11] and several CPU sockets,
including the TR4 CPU socket on some motherboards. As of 2012,
Foxconn factories manufactured an estimated 40% of all consumer
electronics sold worldwide.

china has the ability to scale up to the needed volumes. the usa does
not.

another thing you fail to understand is many of the components that are
used in apple products (as well as other companies) are made elsewhere.
only the final assembly is done in china.

<https://www.lifewire.com/where-is-the-iphone-made-1999503>
Camera: Qualcomm, based in the U.S. with locations in Australia,
Brazil, China, India, Indonesia, Japan, South Korea, and more than a
dozen locations through Europe and Latin America
....
Glass screen: Corning, based in the U.S., with locations in
Australia, Belgium, Brazil, China, Denmark, France, Germany, Hong
Kong, India, Israel, Italy, Japan, South Korea, Malaysia, Mexico,
Philippines, Poland, Russia, Singapore, South Africa, Spain, Taiwan,
The Netherlands, Turkey, the U.K., and the United Arab Emirates
....
Wi-Fi chip: Murata, based in the U.S. with locations in Japan,
Mexico, Brazil, Canada, China, Taiwan, South Korea, Thailand,
Malaysia, Philippines, India, Vietnam, The Netherlands, Spain,
the U.K., Germany, Hungary, France, Italy, and Finland

apple is slowly moving manufacturing to other locations, including
india. shutting down china entirely is not a viable option.

some products, such as the trashcan macpro, was made in texas, mostly
because it was a low volume product. as it turned out, the volumes were
lower than they had hoped for.

texas/>
As part of its commitment to US economic growth, Apple today
confirmed that its newly redesigned Mac Pro will be manufactured in
Austin, Texas. This latest generation Mac Pro, which was unveiled at
Apple¹s annual Worldwide Developer Conference in June, will begin
production soon at the same Austin facility where Mac Pro has been
made since 2013.

> You NEVER back up your claims with evidence.

that is very much false.

Do you not understand that having one's enemy manufacture goods for

There may well have been a 'spy' installed within it. There is no way

Yes, I'd noticed during my visit to the USA in 2004 that the USA had
chosen a path of self-destruction. Chana has beaten the USA at its own game.

Apple should MAKE its products in the USA and SELL them overseas.

That had been my experience. Perhaps you post using a pseudonym.
