back in the day bumper bars were just that.. bars at the front of the
car to prevent damage to the car when bumping into things.

Nissan are my second most worst choice also.

visiting dealerships and interacting with the personnel you get a pretty
good 'feel' for what they're like. but especially since I owned an
Escort Panel Van from 1976 to 1982, the only Ford I've ever owned and
ever will. it was returned to the dealership more than19 times during
that period for various problems, only three of which were ever fixed.
How do I know this after so many years? because I kept a record up until
the 19th time after which I didn't bother anymore.

Nah, Ford was too boring to work at. I found trucks (Bedford, Isuzu,
Chev) much more interesting. I was doing my diesel course while working
there as well. It was a stepping stone towards moving into mining. I had
plans and everything went according to the plans.

Ah, Escorts. Remember them well - and their screwed up emissions

for Escorts. Figured I won't be working on Escort in the foreseeable
future.

Once again, Fraudster describes himself.

And once again, his bleating about "irrelevance" is illuminating. Well, to

Oh dear.

For starters, you already have more than enough trouble speaking for
yourself. Don't add to your problems by attempting to speak for anyone
else.

Secondly, you don't think that any grief your little mate is copping over
his latest folly may have its roots in his repeated bagging of *all* of
his exposers conveyances? A tactic which is hilariously incompetent as
he's never even owned a half-decent sedan in his life *and* claims not to
read anything relevant.

Darren really has a hang-up about *irrelevance*, doesn't he? Makes you
think that he's so concerned about his *irrelevance to the motor trade*
that he actively tries to project it upon others. Hint: it's not working!
Of course Darren could *prove* his relevance to the motor trade by
trotting out those *claimed* trade qualifications of his. Of course, in
the absence of such proof Darren is, and remains, a pimple on the arse
of the trade. FFS, even the VACC had no record of him or his claimed
business registrations.

Sooo Fraudster, apu you've regularly brayed that you "don't care" what
your exposers say, *and* that you 'don't see a word they say *directly*'.
So why then do you read *and* continually reply indirectly us?

I've got a firm opinion on the reasons, but I'd love to hear your attempts
to rationalise this huge inconsistency.

alvey
Not bothering to remind that more than once the goose has been sprung
replying *directly* to people he claimed were in his (snigger) killfile.

But he blamed *reinstall(s)* of the laptop (among other excuses). Maybe
Darren should think about tossing that laptop away - such a problematic
wee beastie - and get a Macbook. My Macbook Air, 5 years, never needed a
reinstall. Works as perfectly now as the day I initially set it up. ;-)

Yada yada yada more Apple fanboi claptrap, my wife's win 8.1 machine ran
nearly 10 years with no maintenance before being replaced, my older
laptop is 8 years old and the only work on it has been to upgrade it to
W10 and a 1TB SSD. Apple machines are nothing special, just over-priced.

And massively over-rated. Good for people like Clasener, as they usually
need something to jerk off over while making themselves look clueless.

Apart from a hard drive failure (shock horror), all the PC's and laptops
at my place run just fine. Thunderbird, on the other hand, has it's
issues on occasion. Not that that plays any part in Clueless Clasener's
fantasy, but it's not like anyone gives a fuck about his opinions :)

You just can't manage it, can you? That narcissism of your, it really
has you screwed up! Again, nice to see I'm *still* getting under your

lol. As if you'd know.
Or are you saying that while you don't read car mags, you *do* read
computer ones?

Said the knob-jockey who keeps a roll of toilet paper in his sheds'
'office'.

lol. Your Googling, watching porn & making a fool of yourself on Usenet
doesn't put much of a strain on anything built in the last 20 years
Fraudster. Your keyboard & monitor are in way more danger of being broken.

Poor old Fraudster. *Still* playing the populist card.
And btw Gibbens, it's not "opinion" that describes you as a lying,
fraudulent, hypocritical coward. Them's facts.

Have a bad day.

**I love bashing Mercs. Over-priced and unreliable. However, this:

https://www.mercedes-benz.com.au/passengercars/models/cabriolet-roadster/sl/overview.html

Looks great, EXCEPT for that hideous grille. WTF are they thinking? When
the latest generation of SL cars were released (10 - 12 years ago?), I
thought they looked fabulous. OK, I've been looking at the picture for a
few minutes now. Fuck me, they look shithouse.

Now, for Lexus:

https://www.lexus.com.au/models/lc/overview

One of my neighbours has that car. Same colour too. I reckon it looks
pretty damned nice. Grille and all. Mind you: The grilles on their
bigger cars looks like shit. Same deal with 4WD BMWs. And don't get me
started on the plastic shit on the front of the BMW electric cars. YIKES!

By comparison, this looks drop-dead gorgeous:

https://www.tesla.com/en_au/models

At least Tesla don't find the need to put a fake cooling intake for a
non-existent radiator on their cars. BMW need to dump theirs. And so
does Merc.
