Yes, she must be an expert on the country. Do you think she's ever
been there?

I loved "Fargo", and I love the recurring "Fargo" miniseries on FX which
will be playing a new theme in late November. Set your DVRs! ;)

I grew up eating lamb chops, probably once a week. Then I got married.
My wife hates lamb. I may have eaten lamb four or five times in the fifty
years since, in restaurants. I "think" I bought some lamb chops when she
was visiting relatives once.
I don't like cooking two dishes for two people.

People, a hundred years ago, wouldn't bat an eye. They lived in the real

Up until the early 60's, if we wanted chicken, the beginning of the process was to go out back to the henhouse with an axe...

I don't think I've ever seen a *rush* on faux meat or tofu. Not even if
it was on sale! LOL

It's a funny thing about lamb. People seem to love it or hate it. It's
rare to have couples who both like it.
My wife and I love it.
My wife's parents both liked it.
Her best friend and her husband liked it.
My oldest brother and his wife liked it.
My next older brother loved it but his wife hated it.
My younger brother hates it but his wife love it.
My son used to like it but not anymore, and his wife loves it.
One friend likes it but his wife is the one who thinks it tastes gamey.
My best friend and his wife will not eat it.

Mom just finished watching season 1-3 of that and we've
also watched the movie a few times. the library has some
of them on dvd and we can request the others they don't
have. right now she's watching Banshee... i don't tend
to watch any of the stuff she does, but i listen to them
and see bits in passing so i end up knowing kinda what is
going on so we can laugh at the funny stuff together or
i can laugh at something that's funny when she's sleeping
in her chair and the tv is blasting away. sometimes i do
get up and close my door so i can listen to some music
or watch something on my computer but more often i'm just
reading or writing and i don't even hear what she's got
on. i can do that now after many years of practice and
i can even sleep through it (years ago there's no way i
could sleep with that much noise).

i like lamb properly trimmed and cooked right
with plenty of garlic and other spices. i do not
like venison (i think some people would say they
are similar in strength of gamey flavor sometimes
but i think that is also based upon different
kinds of lamb and preparation).

i've not had venison in many years in any form
other than sausage (mixed with pork and spices i
like it).

same here, but i do sometimes make the simpler version
first and then divide it so i can spice up one portion
for me.

i haven't made my own version of lamb stew in many
years because it has lamb and cabbage (which Mom won't
eat), but that's also because lamb is rediculously
expensive but also because since i learned how to make
some Thai curries i'd much rather eat those (for about
1/3rd the price).

I have been getting lamb at Costco lately. It's usually Australian
lamb, not usually as good as local or NZ, but still very enjoyable, and
very affordable.

I have some fantastic PORN bookmarked...

The problem with that is that the standards can be lower
as far as the age of the "lamb." These are the same folks
who eat goat, so they can't be very picky about strong
tasting meat. Plus, they tend to season the heck out of it,
and that covers up the gaminess.

1980 was many years ago. The statute of limitations for
fucking a fourteen year old when you are twenty ran out a
long time ago. You don't get on the sex offender registry
merely by being a known pedophile. You have to get
convicted.
