A 'supermajority' of his peers vehemently disagree with that assessment:
https://news.stanford.edu/2020/11/20/faculty-senate-condemns-actions-hoover-fellow-scott-atlas/

"A resolution, introduced by members of the Faculty Senate Steering Committee and approved by 85 percent of the senate membership, specified six actions that Atlas has taken that “promote a view of COVID-19 that contradicts medical science.” "

How many Chinese foreign construction workers were at this fictional place in Italy? 100? 1000? And they got infected with Covid in Wuhan and killed all the old people in the Italian retirement home? Were the construction workers all from Wuhan? Was one of them? And why were Chinese imported to Italy to build buildings? That seems like a job they would hire local Italians to do. I'm sure Italy has a strong union of construction steel workers that make sure all buildings are built by union employees. Bringing in foreign workers for some jobs is common. The middle east imports women from India to clean hotels. California and Arizona import workers from Mexico to pick fruit and vegetables. But bringing in cheap Chinese workers to build a multi million dollar building? Doesn't add up.

Not construction but rather the fashion industry in Milano.
Several famous name houses were bought by chinese who
brought in chinese labor to avoid Italian payroll
tax/regulation.

https://www.statista.com/statistics/785104/elderly-population-in-italy/

and Mr Xi's decision to bar Wuhan travel inside china but
allow international travel, the results were dramatic,
especially at Bergamo.

Well. I'm sure that you can get the support of Johnny who obtained his massive training in medical matter in the Airforce school for crew masters. People like you believe that politically correct is the only thing that counts.. That a mass of people disagreeing with an expert is all that is necessary despite the fact that they have absolutely no expertise in the areas of discussion. The Stanford school itself is so famous for its far left stance on anything that they have been attempting to get the Hoover Institute thrown off of the Campus almost from its founding from a bequest. And if the actual salaries of the objecting professors weren't augmented by the income from the Institute it would have been.

Flunky, you and mental midgets like Russell and Frank can have your opinions all you like. You are affecting no one. The covid-19 policies produced by the Democrats have killed 200,000 people and have save no one. Seem like your kind of world. Isn't it time for your next booster shot?

Well, my memory of the discussion was that it was centered around construction of large buildings. But such as it is it was still residents in rest homes in northeastern Italy. And these people did compose the oldest population on the average in Europe. This population was absolutely riff with comorbidities and truthfully, any flu could be expected to have a huge mortality rate released into that population.

The Chinese Communist Party and PLA may be formidable in

:-) Sure you are!

And I'll believe it when you prove that you've sold your house in that
hellhole and moved to northern Idaho, to be with the people you love.

Just think, Tom, Idaho has all the climbing you'd ever want to do! Maybe
you could finally impress us!

Of course, you'd likely be run off the road daily by pickup drivers who
figured you for a socialist.

Hmm. How fast would you be if you added a big Trump flag to your bike?

I suspect he put in 8 hour days at each one every Monday through Friday. That is 24 hours. The length of one day. He worked day shift, evening shift, and night shift at the three companies. In succession. All the companies were probably located in the same office building so it would only take a few seconds to run up the stairs to the next floor and start his shift at the next company.. Tommy is truly amazing.

> Not to mention he is now mostly recovered from Obama's Great Recession and is worth almost a million and a half.

Concerning this Tommy boy. $1.5 million dollars. Is this including the value of your/mother's home? I think Jeff or John valued it at $800k in a prior post. And your stock investments? Where you get $12k per month. Is it all invested in state bonds that are federally tax free? Or do you consider it tax free because the unrealized gain on your investments is $12k per month average and you do not sell any stocks so its untaxed for now. And if you die and pass it along to heirs it will get a step up basis on the day of your death and the gains will be tax free.

Your resume on LinkedIn found by John or Jeff shows you worked for about 50 years I would guess. And you contributed to an IRA and/or 401k during your working life. And its only appreciated to $1.5 million? Or $700k if your total is also including your house value. That is a very poor appreciation over the five decades. Or did you not contribute anything to retirement savings during your working life? And thus started saving and investing only at age 65 when you got on Medicare and started drawing social security.

Concerning the $12k tax free monthly income. If your capital is $1.5 million then you are getting a return of about 9.6% annual. Net tax free according to you. So figuring a combined California state and USA federal tax rate of about 30% combined for a net income of $144,000, you are making about $205,000 annual gross before taxes. Or about 13.7% gross return. Not bad Tommy boy.

Now if your $1.5 total includes your $800k house, then that only leaves you about $700k to earn your $12k per month net income. So your annual return is 20.6% net. Or about 29% gross before taxes. Please say hi to Warren Buffet and the Federal Reserve chairmen when all of you meet up at Jackson Hole Wyoming every year.

> I'm making $12,000 average per month and in investments that do not require taxes. Why don't you tell us about your financial conditions what with that prestigious job of bookkeeper you have. If you even have something that complex since you have displayed an utter lack of understanding simple math.

Ah Tommy you do go on, don't you. But, yet again, you get it wrong. I
received no medical training in the Air Force, in fact I received no
training at all. You see, when I enlisted I was already a U.S.
Government licensed Aircraft and Engine mechanic and so went from
basic training straight into a aircraft maintenance job and when the
Recieps were phased out and I didn't want to work on Jets I showed
them my certificate as a journeyman machinist and moved into that
career field.

As for your vaunted $12,000 a month that you brag about? Well, we got
out of the stock market some years ago and into what we reckon is more
inflation proof investments like real estate and gold. And while I'm
not bragging the gold seems to be doing well as the actual cash value
is almost double what we paid for it.

And as for your multitude of jobs? Who knows? After all you lied on
the very first entry in your resume so perhaps you lied on the rest of
them. Perhaps your whole life has been just a long series of lies.

I'm admittedly guessing but I would guess from seeing your posts here
and listening to your boasts that your work history is just that, a
long list of lies. I can't imagine any company retaining a bloke who
tells as many lies and distorts as many commonly known facts as you do
for any time at all. And from your resume apparently they didn't.

Lets face it Tommy, you are a failure. You were incapable of
graduating from high school, your career in the Air Force was 4 years
of being a nobody, you list job after job in your resume which now
appear to be largely lies, you live in a cheap house in a neighborhood
you openly refer to as a ghetto with guns banging all night and
illegal aliens running up and down the streets. In fact you even seem
to feel that you must have a firearm to be safe. Your famous story of
being arrested starts out with you peeping out of windows with gun in
hand afraid to open the door..

If you are what is considered a success in California I can only thank
the Gods that I don't live there.

Cheers,

John B.

Quote from Tommy up above:
"That a mass of people disagreeing with an expert is all that is necessary despite the fact that they have absolutely no expertise in the areas of discussion."
You mean like all the anti vaxxers and Fox News hosts and right wing Republicans like Ron Desantis who say they know more about Covid and vaccines than Dr. Anthony Fauci? A man who has about 60 years of work in the field and an MD.

>> Well. I'm sure that you can get the support of Johnny who obtained his massive training in medical matter in the Airforce school for crew masters. People like you believe that politically correct is the only thing that counts.

(Hand Raised) Tommy I got a question.

You say that "policies produced by the Democrats have killed 200,000
people"? Well, O.K.

But who killed the other 720,000? As you say the Democrats only killed
200,000 the it must have been the Republicans that killed the other
720,000... Mustn't it?

>
>
>

Why are you showing us that you aren't even a good bookkeeper? My increase in value from my investments are not in cash and are not paid out to me but are an increase of the value of my investments. So exactly why are you trying to show us all that you're a terrible bookkeeper? The increase in value of my house is taxable when?

Why are you so intent in making yourself look so entirely incompetent? Before this we could all give you the benefit of a doubt but you just have to make your incompetence public. I suppose one has to wonder why?

People like you believe that politically correct is the only thing that counts.

And yet again Russell works so hard to show himself incapable of knowing anything about anything.

Why don't you tell us that a 50 year bureaucrat is somehow more competent than the man who invented a world changing chemistry and won a Nobel Prize for it?

Russell, your entire world now revolves around "proving" me wrong while you haven't the slightest idea what you're talking about. Exactly what is going on in your head?

In succession. All the companies were probably located in the same office building so it would only take a few seconds to run up the stairs to the next floor and start his shift at the next company. Tommy is truly amazing.

> >

> >
> >
> Why are you showing us that you aren't even a good bookkeeper? My increase in value from my investments are not in cash and are not paid out to me but are an increase of the value of my investments. So exactly why are you trying to show us all that you're a terrible bookkeeper? The increase in value of my house is taxable when?

Tommy, Tommy, Tommy. Above you state "I'm making $12,000 average per month and in investments that do not require taxes." The IRS, and the taxing authority in California, did not consider the "make" $12,000 per month. Else they would have taxed you on the gains. You did not make anything. It is unrealized gain. It does not count. Unless you are declaring your wealth for other purposes such as a will or possibly securing a mortgage. Mark Zuckerberg lost $26 Billion dollars yesterday. It was not income. It was wealth. All unrealized loss. Unless he cashed out his ownership of Facebook at the bottom. And his wealth went up a billion or so today. Again not income. You really need to take some classes and increase your education on how the financial system works.

In many posts you claim you lost all your money when Obama was president. You being the only one. But unless you sold the stocks and realized your losses, it was not reported as income/loss on your tax statement. You did not use the losses to offset gains and did not even get to use the $3000 carry forward. So it was fictious losses made up by you. Doesn't count. Not real. Fake news.

The increase in value of your house is taxable every single year when property taxes are due. In most of the USA, not sure how California works, the county assessor sends a property tax statement, bill, every year saying your house is now worth X. Usually its an increase in worth. So your property taxes increase each year. And when you sell your main residence, you may or may not pay taxes on the gain. Real estate laws on selling of main residence has changed significantly in the past years. It used to be you paid on the gains. Then it was the first $50k or $150k that was excluded. Now it may be everything is excluded on selling of main residence. Or maybe there is an upper limit on the exclusion. First $1 million excluded and you pay income or capital gain tax on the rest above $1 million. I have not kept up with the real estate taxes recently.

People like you believe that politically correct is the only thing that counts. And if the actual salaries of the objecting professors weren't augmented by the income from the Institute it would have been.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kary_Mullis
"Mullis practiced clandestine chemistry throughout his graduate studies, specializing in the synthesis of LSD; according to his friend Tom White, "I knew he was a good chemist because he'd been synthesizing hallucinogenic drugs at UC Berkeley." He detailed his experiences synthesizing and testing various psychedelic amphetamines and a difficult trip on DET in his autobiography. In a Q&A interview published in the September 1994 issue of California Monthly, Mullis said, "Back in the 1960s and early 1970s I took plenty of LSD. A lot of people were doing that in Berkeley back then. And I found it to be a mind-opening experience. It was certainly much more important than any courses I ever took."

John, I am going to have to call you out on your inaccuracy. Hold your feet to the iron. There has only been 892,442 DEAD from Covid in the USA. According to the CDC. And your numbers add up to 920,000. You are overestimating by about 28,000. So if Tommy is right (???????), and the Democrats killed 200,000, then the Republicans only killed 692,442.

In succession. All the companies were probably located in the same office building so it would only take a few seconds to run up the stairs to the next floor and start his shift at the next company. Tommy is truly amazing.

> > >

> > >
> > >
>
>
> >
> > Why are you so intent in making yourself look so entirely incompetent? Before this we could all give you the benefit of a doubt but you just have to make your incompetence public. I suppose one has to wonder why?

Perhaps you can explain to me why I just had my taxes made out by H&R Block and I wasn't charge any taxes on my gains? Oh, wait, you're much smarter than the US largest tax service.

Tell me Russell, why do you continue to dig yourself in deeper and deeper?

The Stanford school itself is so famous for its far left stance on anything that they have been attempting to get the Hoover Institute thrown off of the Campus almost from its founding from a bequest. And if the actual salaries of the objecting professors weren't augmented by the income from the Institute it would have been.

In a Q&A interview published in the September 1994 issue of California Monthly, Mullis said, "Back in the 1960s and early 1970s I took plenty of LSD. So now you will even use unproven rumors about a Nobel Prize winning chemist. Keep digging. Sooner or later you will hit oil.

The idea of Tom taking classes is a bit funny. I'm sure he'd say he
knows more than any teacher! :-)

Well. I've been using WorldMeter. who claim to get their numbers from
CDC sources, for a more up to date number that they show today, a week
later then the CDC site, some
https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/
923,586 at the moment, so a disparage of
some 31,144..

But, I'm not going to get excited about a few deaths. If the
Republicans can only manage 692,442, well, they will just have to get
with it to show us what they are really capable of. I mean who can
applaud a bunch that fall down and worship a 70-something old buffoon,
named after a duck and who pays his hair dresser $70,000? And... who
sexually assaulted a female in a changing booth in a store?

In a changing booth? Can you even imagine sex moves in a changing
booth? Luckily they don't have phone booths any more or the poor old
man wouldn't be able to walk down a street without being arrested.

John B.

Frank, I have absolute proof that I know more than you. But you have my permission to continue acting the fool before everyone else. Your purposeful act to destroy this groups has succeeded. Most of the people that used to post here are now gone and you can pretend that you're the king of the hill.

> > > >

> Tell me Russell, why do you continue to dig yourself in deeper and deeper?

Easy. You had no gains? Because you never REALIZED any gains by selling any stocks or investments. The IRS only taxes realized gains. Not unrealized gains. And the IRS does not give you a deduction for unrealized losses. All of your gains and losses you keep yipping and yapping about are all UNREALIZED. Imaginary more or less. Maybe you never sold anything to realize a gain because your social security pension (socialism at its finest) is enough for you to live comfortably enough. Along with the fortune you make selling bikes on eBay or Craigs list. You have told us many times you bought your mother a house long ago and now live in it. I assume its paid for so no housing expense. And you have told us you have some kind of property tax exemption or no increase rule in affect for your house. California laws. So property taxes may be manageable on social security. And maybe you do not live too high on the hog so social security covers everything well enough. But you have complained numerous times about how high priced groceries are.

Or, you offset all of your realized gains this year and prior years during Trump by deducting against your capital loss carry forward. You have told us endlessly how you lost everything on earth during Obama. So when Obama left, you had huge capital loss carry forward. And you can carry these losses forward until death. So they could be used to offset all of the millions you made while Trump was in office. Andd pay no taxes. But now that Biden is in office you are back to losing money and accumulating all the loss carry forward used up during Trump. Sad, sad, sad.
