"Morrison and his like have dared attack Novak to bring Serbia to its
knees," Mr Djokovic said.

"To it's knees"? WTF? But the fruitcake didnt say *why*...

and:

"They're stomping all over Novak to stomp all over Serbia and Serbian
people."

Huh? ramblings of a man with severe issues...

What a fuckwit.

They should never have let the unvaccinated cuntbag into the country in
the first place, and after insane rants like this they should never let
him back in ever again.

Clearly there's been a stuff up at some level of government, whether
it be the Vics or the Feds (I'm inclined to suspect the Feds).

Djokovic Senior's rant isn't going to elicit much sympathy from the
locals, lest they be Serbs, but I'd be far more interested in finding
out who issued a visa that didn't meet the entry requirements when
Novak's camp had obviously been led to believe it did.

Nor is it likely to be an isolated case.

More of a cultural thing where an 'attack' on one is seen as an 'attack'
on all and he's using it to try and leverage numbers to protest. There
will always be a few dumbarses that blindly follow a leader no matter
how nuts he is... the FLCJC prove that in spades!

I read Tennis Australia were forewarned some months ago by Greg Hunt
about the requirements for entry. Novax hasn't met the requirements and
he can't come in. Simple stuff. Whatever Tennis Australia and the state
of incompetence granted is completely irrelevant - the feds get the
final say, not those with a vested interest.

We don't need that anti-vaxxer poster child here anyway, those morons
don't need any more encouragement.

I got the impression he was issued the visa with the proviso he provide
substantive proof on arrival. He was asked for it, he was unable to
supply anything other than a couple of reccomendations.

The conditions that need to be met to enter the country come under
Federal authority, but I'd personally be putting the blame for this in
Novak's camp. They're the ones who applied for the visa.

Novak's camp has had *months* to get this sorted, and after all the
media attention and speculation they've *still* managed to fuck it up.

> Nor is it likely to be an isolated case.

Can't comment on that, but if other people have been kicked out of the
country for the same issues then he should be too. As Rafael Nadal was
quoted as saying in this morning's paper, "He could have avoided all
this by just being vaccinated".

Contradictory media reports only serve to confuse the issue but I
would've thought he'd need his visa to be fully approved before he
could enter the country.

Visas are also a sore point with me as I'm currently waiting on a
subclass 496 visa for a diesel mechanic for which the application was
lodged in April 2021 through a solicitor who specialises in visa
applications. Originally told it would normally take three weeks to
process but covid has thrown the situation into chaos.

In the case of the 496 visa the relevant state government needs to
endorse the application but the feds still have issue it... as I'd
expect to be the case with Djokovic even if the respective governments
are prepared to short circuit the application process for Tennis
Australia.

Of course he could've but the real issue remains as to who let him in
without being vaccinated! It also appears that others have been
allowed in on the basis of similar applications initiated by Tennis
Australia, for which final approval needs to come from whoever's
responsible within the federal government. If whoever polices it
happens to disagree it then becomes a matter of which Ministers' heads
need banging together but don't expect that to happen anytime soon.

Yes, definitely. Have friends here in similar situations - though not

I doubt if more than a few small % of Australian could even find that
flea bag Serbia on the map.

And apparently, Novak Dopeybitch is Jesus Christ returned to earth?

“Jesus was crucified on the cross … but he is still alive among us.
They are trying to crucify and belittle Novak and throw him to his
knees,” Djokovic's father said.

Fucking simpletons!

I think it largely depends on what visa he applies for.

Not according to the media.

According to reports in todays Herald-Sun in his initial application for
a medical exception to play at the Oz Open he cited two letters from
doctors claiming that he had legitimate medical grounds to not be
vaccinated. The report didn't go into detail as to what those grounds
were, other than to say that he was "medically exempt", and the review
panel of Tennis Australia and subsequent independent review panel
accepted his application and granted him an exemption to play.

However on his Visa application he also put down "medically exempt" but
upon arrival here in Melbourne he had no documentation to support that
claim and instead cited the fact that as he had contracted Covid within
the last 6 months making him "immune" and also exempt from being
vaccinated, he was therefore not bound by the rule of needing to be
vaccinated to enter the country.

Border control rejected his the basis that they *don't* accept
previously having had Covid as sufficient grounds to provide a medical
exempetion to the vaccination requirements one needs to comply with in
order to enter the county, and he is now in detention awaiting the
outcome of an appeal.

Djokovic would have known all this in advance, or at least should have
been made aware by his "people" given all the media hype that's been
going on about his atendence here for weeks now, and if what the media
is saying is true then he lied in making his application and should be
deported in my opinion.

>> Can't comment on that, but if other people have been kicked out of the

My understanding is that there are currently 6 players who have applied
for and received medical exemptions to both enter the country and play
in the OZ open. Djokovic is the only one who hasn't met the border
control requirements.

This whole incident also opens up an interesting can of worms in the
form of why both the Tennis Australia and Independent Review Panel
considered him to be legitimately medically exempt, but not Border
control. Given that he seems to have provided different "evidence" to
Border Control than he did the review panels, I can't help but wonder if
he knew in advance what the outcome of the review panels would be and
simply needed to provide "documentation" in order to make it look
official, but was aware that said documentation wouldn't cut it with
Border Control and thought it best to rely on something else to satisfy
that requirement.

Either way, it's all turned to shit and couldn't have happened to a more
deserving "champion" :)

It sounds like there was some supporting documentation needed to satisfy
Border Control that he didn't have.

Not sure if that's the case.

I'd heard he was approved by the tennis mob and the Vic Govt. I was
wondering what the Vic Govt. had to do with *visas*. Always thought it
was a Federal responsibility. So many stories out there it is difficult
to know what is real and what is bullshit. A lot like Darren's tales in
fact. Been listening to some overseas media too and are they ever
putting a different spin on it compared to the *impression* I get here
in this country.

So they claim, but I would think that claiming with a straight face that
neither team knew who's application they were processing when making
their decisions is an insult to people's intelligence.

Given that Djokovic is the number 1 ranked male player in the world and
the defending Australian Open champion I'd bet very big money on the
fact that Tennis Australia was going to do whatever was necessary to
ensure he was permitted to play, and I'd *also* place a sizeable wager
that the very fact that the Andrews Government set up the "Independent
Review Panel" to vet exemption applications after spending *weeks*
telling the media that no exemptions would be made suggests that the
whole process of "blind" application processing is all a charade set up
in a pathetic attempt to legitimize decisions that were made some time
ago regardless of what the public has been led to believe.

It's all blown up in their face now, and it's fucking *wonderful* :)

Most visas that I have had are only the first step, you then have to
front up to immigration and prove what you said on your application. The
application is only checked by a computer program, you don't usually
have to provide proof at that point.

the visa application would just have gone to a computer, a relative of
mine used to work in that area of Border Force, checking the results of
automated application responses every time the rules changes.

Doubt it, more likely Tennis Australia and or the Vic Govt, my moneys on
the tennis mob who stand to loose a lot of money if he isn't there so
they did something dodgy to try and avoid the rules

Not even most of them, my wife was born in Serbia and if she was in
charge he would already be gone.
