LOL, when I work on cars these days I often end up with cuts and
scratches on my forearms because my skin isn't as tough as it used to
be, wife insisted I buy arm protection which I did but I usually forget
to wear them:-)

How odd! The silly little troll here is you Darren. You just love
inventing bullshit stories where you are the centre of attention. You've
thrown out some real clangers in the past but, get this, you actually
think people *believe them*. Well, you put out *no proof* when asked and
in fact run away at a great rate of knots.

BTW, thanks for noting that I'm getting to you. Nice to see you read
everything I post.

50,000 people on a waiting list is a pretty good indication the system
*is not working*.

And a lot *die* before they get their treatment. You call that *working*?

I didn't even know the first bloke I was referred to was a plastic
surgeon until I turned up for my nerve induction test and had to sit in
his waiting room that was full of women with oversized lips and *way*

Which is why the emergency departments in hospitals all around Victoria
are clogged up with people - pricks like you playing the system.

I learned something from one of the resident doctors at Bacchus Marsh
hospital some years ago that is peculiar to the public system.

I fronted up with crippling pain which turned out to be a gallstone
problem (and anyone who's suffered from one of those will know how
painful they are) and the Doc said there was nothing they could do other
than give me some morphine. He said I need to have it out (which I
eventually did in a private hospital), and he said if I wanted to have
it out in the public system quickly then I needed to go to the emergency
department "in pain" 3 times for the same complaint and on the third
occasion they will act on it.

I asked him how that worked and he said it was Health Department policy
that if someone turned up and complained about the same condition three
times they were considered high risk, and the relevant hospital was
obligated to either treat their condition if it could be treated, or
transport them to a hospital that could.

Whether that's true or not I can't tell you, but he was a doctor at a
public hospital and if anyone would know he would.

The only problem with your story Darren is that *you* are telling it.
Given your track record for making up lies, fake claims and bullshit
stories, there's a *trust issue* at play here. *YOU* cannot be trusted.
Only *YOU* can fix that trust issue Darren. Make a start - show proof of
your manifold claims of trade qualifications and business ownership.

Over to you!

Do you use the dishwashing detergent method?...

If it'd been a Qld public hospital the first question they would've
asked after admittance is whether you had private health insurance.

If the answer's yes sweet talking staffer comes around and urges you
to go private assuring you it won't cost anything. If you agree your
health fund then gets charged. AFAIK nothing else changes.

It has been going on for a while, back in the 90s my next door neighbour
was a cosmetic doctor. His main source of income was pumping collagen
into womens faces. I think he bought it in 44 gall drums, these days I
think that he would be using a grease gun rather than a syringe.
